Citizen participation and community leadership development, in the areas of community economic development and neighborhood revitalization involving public and private entities. Resolution of community disputes, particularly around issues of resource allocations, racial disparities and overcoming the disparate impact of racially-based laws, policies and practices.
Government Reform and Modernization
The reform and upgrading of governmental structures and practices, to overcome the outmoded and inequitable delivery of services to all citizens; reform of policing practices which have a disparate adverse impact on minority and marginalized communities; creating more inclusive and equitable planning and financial practices
Strategic Repositioning and Programmatic Design
Strategic repositioning and programmatic redesign of not-for-profit community-based organizations and educational institutions, to equip them to be more competitive and more engaged in the current environment.
