Community WINS(Working/Investing in Neighborhood Stabilization) Grant Program (2017)

   Since 2015, the U. S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) and Wells Fargo Bank have collaborated to identify cities in four population categories that have designed workforce .development, economic development, neighborhood stabilization, and housing accessibility and affordability innovative projects Through a competitive grants process, $1 million dollars annually has been awarded for implementation of these projects. The USCM identifies former mayors who have experience in designing and implementing similar programs to evaluate the applications and select the winners. SCI CEO Johnson was assigned to this project.
