Demographics Data Analysis Project (2017)

   The Rochester City School District was engaged in a series of activities, called The Path Forward initiative, under the Barbara Deane Williams administration. It was designed to understand the future enrollment patterns for its schools and to design future programming to address new demographic trends and the needs of the students coming from these neighborhoods. It was intended that SCI would work with District leaders to analyze demographic trend data, and to assist them in their efforts to plan the future direction of school programs and efficient building use. However, after several hours of analysis, we had determined that there would be too much overlap between our assignment and work previously completed by other parties. SCI made the decision to withdraw from this contract. Associates assigned to this project were: Rodric Cox-Cooper, Tony Favro and William A. Johnson.
