Social Innovation Conference (2015)

   CEO Johnson conducted a series of neighborhood-based workshops, over a period of five days in November, in Seoul, South Korea, on the effectiveness of community engagement programs, based on the successful model of Rochester’s Neighbors Building Neighborhoods (NBN) program. He also served as a keynote presenter to an international conference, “Transforming Urban Lives through Social Innovation”, which was sponsored by the Mayor of Seoul, Park Won-soon. .  Mr. Johnson was accompanied in joint presentations by Tymothi Howard of Community Planning Associates of Rochester. This was Mr. Johnson’s fourth interaction with South Korean municipalities, including a 4 day visit to Siheung City, in 2012 with Mayor Kim, Yun-sik and members of his administration.
