Leadership Workshop on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (2021)

SCI was engaged by True Insights Consulting to conduct sessions to three new clients on racial discrimination issues within corporate America and strategies for redressing them:

Lewis Tree Services, headquartered in West Henrietta, NY, a comprehensive provider of vegetation management services to public utilities, co-ops and municipalities across North America.
The Lingraphica, Company, located in Princeton, NJ, a SaaS medical technology manufacturer, which provides communications devices, communication apps, as well as online therapy software for those with aphasia and other communications disorders
Conifer Realty LLC, of Rochester, a nationally ranked, full-service real estate company operating in 210 communities throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, specializing in the development, construction, management and ownership of high quality, affordable housing communities.

In addition to the three workshops, SCI visited one of Conifer’s housing developments being completely renovated in Rochester, to engage with the company and its tenants about the overall importance of community redevelopment to residents of all income groups. SCI Associate William A. Johnson conducted all of these sessions.
